On December 17th, 2025, Biafra Republic Government in Exile Acting Prime Minister (APM) Ogechukwu Nkere met with Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), to discuss areas of mutual interest between BRGIE and the US Government. APM Nkere, in addition to provide a general briefing about both Biafran issues and Christian genocide in Nigeria to Congressman Jackson, discussed strategic cooperation between the U.S. government and BRGIE in specific areas.
Congressman Jackson is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and House Foreign Affairs Africa subcommittee. Before entering Congress, Congressman Jackson previously served as the physician for Presidents Trump and Obama, respectively.
